Simple Configuration Very Low Cycle Cost A typical 48 V telecom application requires 38 to 39 cells connected in series depending on the low voltage window. Thanks to tailored cell layouts, the Ultima.plus battery adjusts to available space. It can replace lead acid batteries without needing to change the charging equipment. During operation, a fixed charge voltage of 1.43 V/cells should be used, rather than temperature compensated voltage control.

Ultima.plus is a good investment because of its long life. Very low maintenance and high reliability contribute to remarkable life cycle cost reduction. At the end of the day, lower operating costs and less down time can be expected.
