The NCX battery was designed to meet the demanding requirements of remote or outdoor telecom plants: local or access terminals, Base Transceiver Stations, Base Station Controllers, Optical Nodes Units, etc… The NCX is compact and modular. It fits into most existing Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery compartments and is compatible with existing charging systems. It provides a much longer useful life, more reliable operation, less maintenance and lower life cycle cost. The NCX is a realistic and attractive alternative to troublesome VRLA batteries, particularly under extreme operating temperatures. |
